At the heart of Inbavanam's commitment to sustainable development lies our natural farming practices, centered within our campus. We work closely with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and collaborate with nearby organic farmers, fostering a network of knowledge sharing and practical support. Our approach extends beyond plant cultivation, encompassing integrated farming systems. We engage in poultry farming, raising country-bred chickens, and practice fish culture, growing fish for consumption and utilizing the nutrient-rich water for plant irrigation. Furthermore, we demonstrate responsible water management by utilizing water from our bio-toilets for watering plants, showcasing a closed-loop system that minimizes waste and maximizes resource efficiency. Our campus is a living demonstration of biodiversity, featuring a vibrant fruit orchard, a thriving plantain patch, and a grove of coconut trees, alongside various local plant varieties. Our campus is a haven for diverse wildlife, attracting numerous bird visitors, including peacocks, bulbuls, owls, and [add any other common birds], creating a rich ecological environment. Occasionally, we welcome wildlife visitors like deer, rabbits and wild pigs, and on rare occasions, even elephants, highlighting the natural harmony we strive to maintain. By showcasing these practices, we aim to inspire and empower communities to adopt sustainable agriculture, ensuring food security and environmental stewardship.
