Empowerment
Gender stereotyping is acommon problem in all over world. Especially in a rural community like Kandiyur the women are oppressed byall means. Inbavanam conducts frequent meetings with the women in the community to empower them. Alcoholism and debt with the private money lenders are the two major issues in the community. Inbavanam motivates the women to fight back against these two social evils as a team and also encourages them to save money whatever they are earning. In Inbavanam farm both women and men equity is maintained among men and women for all the works that they are doing inside the farm. Inbavanam ensures equal participation of women in all its initiatives. A women group was also accepted to do farming at Inbavanam.
